About

My work begins in black.

Not as emptiness,
but as a source.

Black carries tension.
Silence.
Shame.
Mystery.
Safety.
And fear.

I grew up in an environment where feelings were given little space. For a long time, I learned to hide and suppress my own emotions and desires. What I felt could not find words.

Images became my language.

Through film and photography, I construct dreamlike worlds to disappear into. Places where reality can shift, and where feelings, desires and hidden parts of the self are finally allowed to exist.

My work is carefully composed through layers, reflections, texture, movement, sound and silence. Within these constructed worlds, I search for something real: the moment when performance falls away and something human and authentic appears.

I am drawn to sensuality, subcultures and theatricality. To the tension between strength and vulnerability, control and surrender, seeing and being seen.

Women often stand at the centre of my work, shaping their own identity, sexuality and power.

Whether through a still or moving image, I create worlds that reach beyond what is visible.

To reveal what is felt.
