About

My work begins in black.
Not as emptiness, but as a source.
Black carries tension.
Peace
Shame
Mystery
Safety
And fear
And from that darkness, my images arise.
I grew up in an environment where feelings were given little space. Also in the years that followed, my voice and desire remained silent. What I felt couldn't find words.
Only images offered a solution.
First through film,
later through photography.
That form became my voice.
My images are carefully composed.
In layers,
reflections,
texture, and silence.
Shame plays a key role.
As if someone is watching. And judging.
I love subcultures. Exaggeration.
Sensuality.
Theatrical forms.
Worlds in which identity is played out
as desire.

On the border of strength and vulnerability. Nudity sometimes returns.
Not as a provocation, but as something pure. My work is about what lives under the skin. What is visible has been carefully chosen. Maybe it opens up a world.

Maybe even some of yours.
